Resources For Psychologists

Sorry for the above "emphasis" - but I get so many emails asking for more info on various tests etc, which I can't obviously answer, that I really had to bring attention to this.

The below links will take you to information and resources for psychologists many of whom are providers to VRAS. It is implicitly agreed that the resources provided here are only to be used by qualified psychologists who have been professionally trained. This is particularly pertinent to the use of psychometric resources where it is mandatory that the providers have been trained in the administration, scoring and interpretation of questionnaires.

Many of the resources are in pdf format and were written by Adobe Acrobat version 4. If you are unsure how to use pdf files, do not have Acrobat Reader installed or only have Acrobat Reader version 3 or below then obtain what you need from this help page.

Interview Resources

This link will lead you to resources that are useful during intake interviews or for making notes during continuing sessions.

Software Resources

Currently only contains two pieces of my software and one link, but it will eventually grow.

Therapeutic Process Resources

Still under construction this link will provide psychotherapy process resources useful in the treatment of victims of crime. This includes an example of an information sheet for VRAS clients.

Questionnaires

None of the questionnaires provided here have been copyrighted by a company and have been derived from published articles within the public domain. However, it should be stressed that the authors of these questionnaires retain intellectual ownership of their work at all times.

Handouts

This list will link you to quick "handout" sheets aimed at providing information regarding various presentations. They have not been written for a professional audience and are presented in a style to promote understanding by clients. Please do not give this web address and tell clients to obtain the sheets themselves. These have been written to facilitate the providers information giving and are an adjunct to an information session. In this way, misunderstandings can be clarified during the session.

End of Contract Summaries

Still under construction, this will link you to examples of end-of-contact summaries.

Online Articles

This is, naturally, a work in progress.
